PORTFOLIO: RENOVATIONS: Northwest Loggia

Outdoor living is the theme in this renovation of a 1930's Seattle home, made possible when the owners purchased an adjacent lot. The loggia, with its stone fireplace, beamed ceiling, and rustic cabinetry, provides a three-season outdoor living room overlooking the new swimming pool, stone terraces, and back yard. The interior of the home was renovated to create a new family room, master suite and home offices for the husband and wife. The renovation and addition seamlessly connect the old and new parts of the house to create a backyard sanctuary.
