PORTFOLIO: PRIMARY: Tidewater

Situated on a dramatic coastal site where the Sprague River meets the Atlantic Ocean, Tidewater takes its inspiration from traditional New England architecture as well as a desire to tread lightly on the land. The result is a subtle and elegant house that receives the natural gifts of its site in a spirit of stewardship. State-of-the-art green design and construction techniques were used to maximize energy efficiency and minimize environmental impact. The project includes a sophisticated high-volume rain collection and treatment system designed to collect an average of 8,400 gallons of rainwater per month.
