This modest agricultural building, measuring 16 feet by 42 feet, is an economical, utilitarian structure for sheltering horses. A pole structure and pre-manufactured roof trusses are incorporated to reduce costs. Large ventilation shutters are visually integrated into a band of vertical siding, opening into their upward position under the wide overhang. The result is a bold geometry, enhanced with fine detailing to make a strong architectural statement within the client's cost constraints.
